i hate to say it because every other song she’s had i’ve pretty much loved, give or take a few. but this song it beyond anything she’s done before. and i cannot get in to and i cannot even find myself accidentally singing it.

how could she single handidly rule out every other girl in the rest of the 49 states?
what makes california girls so much better than tennessee girls, or kentucky girls, florida girls, new york girls?

so, i just had my birthday on sunday. i’m a firecracker baby. and no one lets me forget it. EVER. i just turned twenty. we had a little party with some family and just had an all around good time.

my grandparents came down on the third, stayed the fourth, and left the fifth. they never stay too long anywhere, and i haven’t figured it out yet.

but i’ll be going to visit them in a little over 30 days. the boyfriend and i are taking a little vacation to florida. we’re going to st. augustine and i am so excited. I’ve never been to florida before, and now that i’m older (over the age of 15) i can explore on my own without reservation.

my grandfather is going to send me some brochures on what we can do and when those come in, i’ll post about those.

you know how this is advertised for children? well, i think it was actually advertised for me too. i’m well from my childhood years, but i love these more than ever. maybe they aren’t a guilty pleasure at all, but I LOVE THEM!

especially the strawberry ones that i pictured above. 400 calories of pure goodness. but in retrospect, i think it’s like 90 calories from fat. let’s get one thing straight – if you’re on a diet, don’t eat this.

while looking for a public photo, i came across this:

so, since my last post I have:

1. gotten a 4.0 for spring semester 2010.
2. started work in an entirely different field than retail.
3. became a well liked preschool teacher.
4. achieved a very successful relationship with him.
5. lost all kinds of contact with my dad.
6. became more comfortable being ridiculous.
7. made more money than i know what to do with [haha, not really.]
8. become  more content with my life & i like it.

you know you’re not supposed to have guilty pleasures but it ends up happening anyways?

well, one of mine is perez hilton. not because of him, but because he’s not araid to put himself out there and point out real and maybe not so real things about celebrities. for me, he makes celebrities every bit of human.

seriously.

Day 1: sit around talking all day.

Day 2: do nothing.

Day 3:  do nothing.

Day 4: go to the mall.

Day 5: get groceries.

day 6: do nothing.

day 7: christmas.

Day 8: leave.

see? what’d I tell you! we weren’t even close to the city – five hours away.

that it’s so weird to have my boyfriend living with me. see, we’ve been together for 3+ (years, months, minutes, whatever.) and it’s like everything and nothing has changed all at the same time.

since we’ve been together, he’s moved countless times and we’ve been run through the mill and back with out relationship. and somehow this move in our relationship has taken us to almost a whole new level. we aren’t just “dating” or “seeing” each other anymore; it’s more than that.

since my first boyfriend, i’ve been the kind of girl who does her own thing and didn’t need a boyfriend to make her happy and blah blah blah. but i find myself wanting to be around him constantly and when he’s around, sometimes i feel i need to get away but at the same time i want to stay.

he’s my best friend, cliche, i know. but he really is. he knows essentailly everything about me and while that scares me, i like it. and at this point we’re perfect together and i don’t want anything to mess that up.

of course, taking a full load again. trying to get closer and closer to that grad day.. so, m/t/w/tr/f, i have classes. mwf , i have econ, philosophy, and history 2. and ttr, i have accounting and sociology. &&&& i couldn’t be more happier. plus, the boy lives here now and we get to car pool. ;]

it’s always good to help the environment and save a bit of gas.
